Visuals in Movies

I watched "Van Helsing" directed by Stephen Sommers last night. I really love the visual effects and imagery! Very dark and very cool looking. I don't know if there was much plot or not, lol. I usually watch movies for the instant gratification! Not always, but a lot. I really enjoyed watching this.

Reminds me also of watching "Sleepy Hollow" directed by Tim Burton in 1999. I LOVE this movie with all the imagery. And the sound of the horse hooves... I just hooked up a subwoofer to my TV right before that and it is really incredible! I only own 1 DVD now, Lord of the Rings, which was a gift. Reminds me I need to buy "Sleepy Hollow."

Great! Because I have a big personal project that needs some pushing along. Audio and Video project... Time-consuming... Gonna head home now and take care of it!

Beautiful Sunny Florida

The past few days have been absolutely gorgeous here in Florida! Blue skies, warm weather, nice breeze. I am wearing shorts and sandals every day again now :)

Today it is hazy when I wake. Now the clouds are turning that purple color in the distance and slowly making their way towards us. The light is growing dimmer and so is my mood. Well, maybe I can get some work done now. If I don't, I will be working on the weekend again...

Stormy

Woke up to thunder this morning. I love it - such a nice sound :) I don't want to go back to sleep, but rather lay in bed and listen to the thunder and the rain lightly tapping on the windows. Maybe hang on the couch or porch and read. But... this is a workday and how many bosses understand? So here I sit and listen to the sound of wet tires from the cars below on the street as I work...
